About Devin

Devin T Gibbs is an actor, singer, and producer whose work bridges stage, screen, and music. A graduate of Northwest School of the Arts. A Posse Arts Scholar at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Devin has built a portfolio that highlights both his artistic talent and his leadership in creative production. From presenting at the Posse Annual NYC Gala to producing original works such as Halloween Hysteria, Sign The Contract, and Phone, Wallet, Keys , Devin continues to develop projects that are bold, cinematic, and socially resonant. With an expected graduation from UNCSA in 2026 and his selection as a Miranda Family Fellowship

participant from 2026–2028, Devin is committed to shaping stories that inspire, entertain, and connect audiences across mediums.

on Stage:

Devin performed Junior in Choir Boy at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. This emotionally charged production ran Mid October 2025 through Early November 2025, highlighting Devin’s commanding stage presence and passion for storytelling through music and movement..

    Devin completed his studies at NWSA, where he honed his craft in acting, music, and stage performance. During his time there, he developed a strong foundation in dramatic storytelling and vocal expression. His dedication to performance and artistic growth earned him recognition from both peers and faculty.

    Posse Arts Scholar

    Devin was selected as a Posse Arts Scholar, a prestigious scholarship awarded to exceptional young artists with leadership potential. This recognition opened the door to his studies at UNCSA’s renowned Drama program. The experience allowed him to collaborate with emerging talents and deepen his understanding of film and stage production.

    Presenter at the Posse Foundation Annual NYC Gala

    Devin represented UNCSA and the Posse Arts Scholars at the organization’s flagship New York City Gala. His presence as a presenter reflected his commitment to the Posse mission of empowering diverse voices in the arts. He captivated the audience with his authenticity, confidence, and passion for storytelling.

    Halloween Hysteria

    In 2023, Devin took on a creative leadership role as the producer of Halloween Hysteria, a thrilling short film blending suspense with humor. The project showcased his ability to manage production logistics while maintaining a strong artistic vision. It also marked one of his first ventures into filmmaking beyond acting.

    Choir Boy

    “Choir Boy,” written by Tarell Alvin McCraney and directed by Cliff Odie at Gerald Freedman, is a coming-of-age drama about Pharus, a gifted student at an elite all-boys school who struggles with identity, masculinity, and acceptance while leading the school choir. Blending gospel music and emotion, the play explores belonging and self-expression. Devin T Gibbs will perform in the UNCSA production in Winston-Salem, NC, running from late October to early November 2025.

    Devin is set to complete his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from UNCSA in 2026. His time at the university has refined his skills in both stage and screen performance. Upon graduation, he aims to continue developing original projects and collaborating with diverse creators in film, theater, and music.

Spring 2025 Production-
Phone, Wallet, Keys is a sharp, comedic short series created, produced, and headlined by Devin T

Gibbs. The story follows a young artist navigating the chaos of city life where every outing
seems to spiral into an adventure sparked by three simple essentials: a phone, a wallet, and keys.
What begins as a relatable everyday ritual quickly transforms into a series of unexpected
encounters, awkward mishaps, and heartfelt moments of self-discovery.

ACTOR

UNCSA-trained screen and stage actor with grounded, rhythmic performances. Leads in Phone-Wallet-Keys; credits include Parrish, Barbershop Calls, and Keeping It Together.

WEB SERIES

Phone, Wallet, Keys — 8-episode dramatic mini-series built for Reels/Shorts. Comedy meets consequence as friends reel from one night, told in tight, cinematic bursts.
